Only one more day 'til Christmas, but I'm not feeling Christmassy at all (though I can't wait to dress up in my awesome new dresses-- I got them from George at ASDA, half price-- but that's a secret). Evrything's been so much doom and gloom this year with the news and evryone blindly following and believing it as the country pseudo-crashes around us. I was hoping by Christmas it would lift; instead, I have just learned to ignore it.
During this time, I have learned to take comfort in the superficial: new clothes, fabulous shoes, thinning out my eyebrown and that fabulous Garnier anti-wrinkle cream that has smoothed out my eye and forehead skin just in time for the Christmas parties! Sometimes, you just have to take refuge in what you know
The other rather fantastic side to this whole Christmas thing is that it is my second Christmas with my wonderful fiance and we will be spending it together... more on that after Christmas...
Have a Merry Christmas and a Fahabulous New Year, guys. Who can believe it, 2009!?

Someone told me once that life isn't so bad,
And some things in this world are so beautiful-
To ignore them would be such a horrible waste,
And sometimes you just have to let go,
Even though you know it will break your heart
